Why Inconel wrap over traditonal methods?

  • Traditonal heat wrap works fairly well in many applications but over time can collect moisture which leads to destroying exhaust components
  • Ceramic coating can make a difference in heat management but will wear off over time and requires many factors in the application process to function as efficient. Not all ceramic coatings are done to the same standard.
  • Turbo blankets are easy to install and will help with heat management yet they leave gaps for heat to escape and aren't a tight secure fit. Also have a higher chance of exposing fibers which can lead to a potential fire if the right conditions are met.
Here at Thermoworks solutions we have realized that heat management continues to still be an issue for many enthusiasts so we have siezed an opportunity to manage heat in a more effective manner. Utilizing stamped inconel 625 paired with a ceramic mat and our welding expertise, we have developed a solution to confine heat to the source eliminating issues with other methods allowing you to cool your bay while looking cool. Ultimately this solution makes your exhaust and turbo systems to run more efficiently allowing you to do more with your vehicle

Measurements Requests for Quotes

Manifolds
- Measure the length of each runner from the flange to the collector. - Measure from the collector to the rear flange. (If applicable) - Include tubing size for each measurement for the most accurate quote.
Turbos
- Measure the circumference around the turbo housing (Hot side) from mounting flange. - Measure from the turbo outlet to the center section of the turbine housing.
Exhaust
- Measure from start to stopping point of what is wanted to be wrapped. - Include tube size diameter for the most accurate quote.
Other
- Measure dimensions of object wanting to be wrapped. - Include as much detail as possible of component wanting to be wrapped. - We will ask for pictures in a follow up email or you can email us directly at the bottom of the page.
